We picked up another investment in the mREIT baby bond and preferred share space.

We’re looking at a yield of about 9.5%. We’ve been checking in on this occasionally to see if prices would dip. We got the dip we were looking for, so I checked the activity in Treasury yields over the last few weeks.

The 5-year Treasury yield, which should be the most relevant factor for interest rates here, is down slightly:

The common shares have been performing fine. Nothing crazy, but nothing awful either. Good enough that the weakness here is interesting.
