Weekly Notes From Colorado Wealth Management Fund

Positions: Swapped RITM-C for more shares of RITM-D. As far as I’m concerned, this is essentially a very similar position. Technically, that means a sell order for RITM-C and a buy order for RITM-D, but I’m not thinking of it in that context. I’m thinking of it as exchanging RITM-C at $23.21 to $23.22 for RITM-D at $22.82 to $22.84.This is exchanging 399 and 460 RITM-C for 406 and 467 RITM-D. You could add those numbers together, but they are in separate accounts so I list the positions separately. Both accounts were tax-advantaged, so we weren’t paying the short-term capital gains tax from recording total returns greater than 43% in under a year. 

Commentary: Rates are down slightly since last Friday, so that was nice. I also want to note that we probably won’t be running this article next week. If anything wild happens in the market, I’ll provide a short note detailing the update.
